Connovar MUSH is a text-based roleplaying game designed to foster interactive storytelling and creativity. In order for the atmosphere to be conducive to this purpose, we provide the following for use by our players:
1. A specifically described and well thought-out grid for characters to explore, created to provide a dynamic and thought-provoking framework for telling your story.
2. Out of Character Areas for your general purpose enjoyment, virtual lounging and chatter.
3. Detailed wiki and theme files for use in firing your imagination and making your storytelling as specific as possible.
4. A positive and forward-thinking staff devoted to creating and maintaining an overarching storyline to serve as both a backdrop for the stories you want to tell and to drive your character into the main events of our World.
5. A fair-minded group of administrators to enforce acceptable use of the MUSH, mediate in player disputes and facilitate roleplay.
Because we want the MUSH environment to be safe and conducive to amazing rp, we will also enforce the following rules:
1. A zero-tolerance harassment policy.
2. A PG-13 rating on Public channels and public roleplay rooms.
3. Blatantly disrespectful language or flaming threads on the bb or wiki will not be allowed.
4. Hacking of the game or its server will be punished with an immediate ban.
5. The MUSH is not to be used as a platform for any illegal activity, behavior or transactions as defined by US law and the law of the country in which you live.
6. It is forbidden to reveal any personal information on-game other than your own, to anyone.
7. We ask that players do not softcode or build on the game without express permission from staff.
8. All players must abide by the rules of consent as laid out in the news files.
9. Inappropriate behavior violating these rules or other rules of common decency will be punished with a warning when practicable and with a revocation of MUSH privileges and banning for repeat offenses.
