There are times when it is refreshing to step out of the tried and true shoes of your character on a MUSH and take on something different for a scene. The Admin of ConnovarMUSH have developed Ghost RP for just such an occasion.
The ruined city of Shannath is filled with the ghosts of its former inhabitants. Trapped in the madness of their lives prior to death, they re-enact moments of their lives in places that were significant to them. Players are encouraged to improvise such scenes with one another, @emitting the ghosts of Shannath.
There are, however, a few rules to follow:
- The Ghosts of Shannath do not interact with the living, or even recognize that they are present. They respond only to other ghosts.
- All ghost RP logs are to be loaded onto their own page and given the tags "GhostLogs" "Logs".
- Ghost RP can be about a moment as simple as having tea or as significant as the ghost's memory of death. They cannot, however, challenge the natural laws of the world or the canon of its history.
Should staff review a ghost log and determine it violates the third rule, above, it will be labeled a 'hallucination' brought on by the creeping taint of the God of Madness.
